• Always crash in pairs. Each pair should have at least one certified TSC member assigned by the Gathering facilitator.
• In order to avoid exposure and to uplift the art of magic, you should only crash with tried and tested effects. Always opt to perform simple effects.
• Before Crashing, discuss the effect(s) that you will perform in order to avoid conflict.
• Avoid performing effects that would involve damage to spectators' property.
• Choose your spectators well - consider their mood and their current activity. It generally best that you approach spectators that are in a good mood and are not "busy"
• Introduce yourself and your group properly. Also, say your intentions when crashing. It is advisable that you stat that you are testing out some effects.
• Please observe proper dress decorum. Never crash while wearing slippers/flipflops. While wearing shorts is considered a casual attire, do not crash while wearing shorts.
• Unless requested by your spectators, you should perform a maximum of 3 effects or less than 10 minutes. Always leave the spectator(s) wanting more and do not overload them with effects
• Ensure that you ask permission from your spectators and café management when taking videos.
• Before crashing, always ask permission from store manager if necessary, especially if it is your first time crashing in the area.
• Don't lurk when someone is performing magic for spectators - maintain a good distance.
• Check your angles, Be mindful of your surroundings, consider that there are also bystanders that may be watching. If needed, ask help from your crashing partner to protect vital and exposed angles.
• Above all, have respect for your spectators
